Round 5: Action Division

Action Division Finals!
For your consideration:
Stella (aka Star-Head, Spike, The Real Deal that's so Surreal)
Victories over: Princess, Shaggy, Mumm-Ra, Rocket Robin Hood
Tintin (aka The Belgian Brawler, Jonny-killer, The Intrepid One)
Victories over: Jonny Quest, He-Man, Space Ghost, Daedalus

In the not-so-action finals, we see Ms. Stella of the Secret Railroad take on the European literary legend Tintin. Is this another chapter in the meteoric rise of the pentacle-dreadlocked one? Or will Tintin's favour overcome Stella's influence and move on to the final icon showdown? Have your say, take your stand, choose your champion!

Round 5: Animal Division

Animal Division Finals!
For your consideration:
Curious George (aka The Franchise Player, The Prime Mate, The Monkey Champion)
Victories over: Donkey Kong, Hobbes, Gleek, Babar
Jerome (aka The Spoiler, The Dark Horse, The CBC Champion)
Victories over: Hammy Hampster, Smokey, Frogger, Jeremy Bear

Jerome, in my humble opinion, only has a "puncher's chance" against the power and fury of George. That being said, I don't have a vote, and as seen from Jerome's track record, strange reversals of fortune are standard business at ICON-O-CLASH. Can the skinny kid from the Savannah take down such a omnipresent icon? Vote now and determine their fate!

Round 5: Cute/Funny Division

Cute/Funny Division Finals!
For your consideration:
Astro-Boy (aka Robo-cchio, Anime-niac, The High-Flier and Monster-Fryer)
Victories over: Calvin, Captain Caveman, Dr. Snuggles, Le Petit Prince
Mr. Line (aka La Linea, The High Profile, Mr. Continuous, The Little Drawing that Could)
Victories over: Sam Crenshaw, Mr Turtle, Gargamel, Barbapapa

The charm of the toy boy is undeniable, but equally charming is the Italian animea. Who is the champ? Who takes the Cute/Funny banner into the final battle? Only your votes can finish their quest for glory!

Round 5: Potpourri Division

Potpourri Division Finals!
For your consideration:
Mr. Stay Puft (aka SPMM, Puft-Daddy, The Big White Sailor, Embodiment of Gozer)
Victories over: Pillsbury Dough Boy, Bonhomme, Twiki, Kool-Aid Man
Boot (aka Ladies Man, Sole Brother #1, The Giant Killer, TVO Champion)
Victories over: Peter Puck, Speed Buggy, Gizmo, Keyop

Boot seems like the underdog in this match, but looking at his resume of victims it is obvious he has his fair share of supporters. Will they continue to "back the leather" or go with the sweet and sticky power of the NYC squash-master? Who will go to the Final Four? You decide!

Round 4 Match 2 Winners

In the Potpourri Division, Boot prevails over Keyop.

The ahhh_crap army actually held no sway here, because were I to disallow the block or "drone" voting for Boot, I would also have to throw out the seemingly similar voting block for the G-Forcer. So, regardless, Boot is your winner!

In another heartbreaker (for some), Mr. Line moves ahead of Barbapapa.

And now we come to the really tough call.

In Jeremy vs. Jerome, the two combatants would have otherwise been locked in a tie, if not for the drones of ahh_crap. They (and their master) decided to "squash" the bear and advance the giraffe to finals of the animal division.

Congratulations Mr. Crap. Hope you can sleep well.

The drone voting played a role in this match as well, moving the intrepid Belgian on to the finals. However, I have surprisingly little anxiety in this case, as I believe this "action" division was ruined a long time ago.

On to the division championships (as soon as I write them)! Stay tuned, they're coming momentarily!
