Round 3 Match 12
Both of these icons have had a fairly easy berth into this round. But which will prevail now that they are up against stiffer competition? Will it be the champion of the Disney nation? Or the rhyming feline from Seuss-land?

The mouse has survived too long. This cat may not be much longer for the clash, but he has the right stuff to get him.
You can ask ANYONE aged 5-75 and I'll bet they can ALL identify "The Mouse". Can the same be said about the cat in the hat? I doubt it!

I HATE THE MOUSE. It is a corporate shill and will do anything to further the aims of a Disney shareholder. No shame. Off your knees!! OFF YOUR KNEES!
I am going to say mouse. I just think that he is the bigger icon. And you may think it is an awful empire, but Disney is an empire none the less.

love him (and what he stands for) or hate him, i just cannot see that Mickey Mouse is less an icon than the Cat in the Hat. For one of the few times (cartoons notwithstanding) it's natural for mouse to clobber the cat...
This is tough... I think little kids today are still reading Dr Seuss... but are they watching Mickey Mouse cartoons like I did as a kid? I don't think so... if you factor in the theme parks, the Mouse has a chance... but I'm going to vote for the Cat.
