Leather vs. Lasagna!
The man who made "cool" a catchphrase needs to overcome perhaps the biggest icon of all the orange cats from newspaper strips. This may seem like an easy decision, since Fonzie was pretty much the bomb back in the day, but allow me to point out that Hollywood has never made a CGI version of Fonzie for two feature films. And Fonzie is also responsible for the term "jumping the shark". Consider all these points, and vote wisely.

Arthur Dent was cooler than the Fonz.
Bob the builder is cooler than Garfield.

The Fonz is cool, but he's never sneezed the flowers off of a floral print chair. Garfield all the way.
I think that I will have to go with the Fonz. I have no good reason as I think that they are both not strong enough to make it to a final battle.

i actually think that Garfield is the more memorable icon, though Arthur Fonzarelli the cooler one.
