Round 2 Match 7

Big Eater vs. Big Eatery!
The scary shark from the depths below has hit land and is looking for some chow. He spots those big chubby legs in the parking lot and moves in for the kill. Will Jaws' hunger wipe out Big Boy? Or will the checkerboard hero feed the big fish into submission with an endless barrage of Salisbury steak? You decide!

when 'Jaws' was out in the theatres i was very young. too young to see a movie about a killer shark that eats people. that said, my best friend at the time was allowed to see it (um, hello?! parenting? anyone?) and because she saw it and everyone was talking about it, i wanted to see it, too. it didn't happen, but it didn't stop me from wanting to see it so i could 'fit in'. i'm sure i drove my parents crazy.

years later i was at a friend's cottage and there was a copy of the novel on one of the bookshelves, so i picked it up and started to read it out of curiosity. let me tell you - after reading chapter one i praised my parents to high heaven for not allowing me to see the damn movie. to this day, even though i have seen the movie now, it is the mental images created by Benchley's words in that first chapter as he describes the woman swimming, feeling a tug on her leg, reaching down to only find bone, her panic and screaming and subsequent death by killer shark (not to mention the image of her half eaten torso showing up on the beach the next day) that will FOREVER be etched in my brain.

duuuuh-dah! SQUASH!

Big boy should never have even beat sailor moon. There's no way he can beat Jaws. This is essentially a match between predator and food.

Count me in for some duh duh squash action.

I'm in... voting for Jaws that is.. I am still not sure about the water...

G for Jaws because he's a shark. 'nuff said.
