Buffy would have been a great character in one of Snoopy's novels. And even though she's on my list - you know, "THE" list - Snoopy is the bigger icon in this round. He's known around the world and really is the face of the Peanuts Franchise.

Snoopy is definitely a powerful icon - 15 years ago.
Buffy is a powerful icon now. She has proven that she has staying power in fan fic and comics.

I suspect in 100 years, Snoopy will still be hawking T-shirts, and no one will remember Buffy. But as a Whedonite, I must vote for the Slayer... especially since it seems at this stage that Wonder Woman is doomed to return to Paradise Island in shame.

Snoopy - because he can generally be found on all levels of my house and generally haunts my housecleaning. We have everything ranging from a 50 year old banner to the bedding in Patch's nursery (and he is pretty new), so I am not sure that snoopy love is out of date.
That and never really got into the vampire craze.
