I love Aslan...
But Barbie's got him beat on the whole "icon" thing...
Although I am against the image that barbie promotes... and can't in good conscience vote for her...

It has to be Barbie.
I understand that there is a perception that she stands for something amoral because she somehow might give young girls unrealistic expections of body proportions. I would argue that Barbie only ever made me want to play with dolls and that my body image issues have a lot more to do with living breathing stick women and more importantly the pedastel society still places them on; media definitions of sexiness; and comic book renderings of beautiful and sexy women, than my doll ever did - but it would only be my opinion and i know it would differ vastly from most other women.
Still she is by far the larger icon of the two, my worship of most things Narnia, notwithstanding...
