Comments:
I like Grover, and I had never heard of Encyclopedia Brown before, so...

Grover for me, please.

I had a plastic finger puppet of Grover. It was cute and being a really young boy I loved it (in that weird magical way...where you carry it around and imagine the thing is actually talking to you). It's one of those things you'd later, like 35 years later, spend $40 on eBay trying to get your hands on this cracked, dried up purple torture device (which clearly won't fit on your finger ANY MORE).

To hell with buying the $40 plastic finger puppet! Why didn't I think of eBay?!

lol...I keel me.

my lovable furry pal Grover wins this round...Encyclopedia who?

I can not believe this all. Encyclopedia Brown was Harry Potter before Harry was...um...a Potter.

I concur.

Encyclopedia Brown was the thinking man's sleuth. Not like those Pansy Bobbsy twins, or Nancy Drew...or the obviously gay Hardy boys.

I love Grover....thats my vote. :) Marilyn

Altho Encyclopedia Brown cracked the case often. Grover, that lovable furry old monster, is the bigger icon of the two (plus, he is my absolute favourite muppet).

Grover as the waiter has got to be some of the best sketch comedy ever written for the under 6 crowd. That poor, blue, mustached customer... you'd think he would just stop frequenting the restaurant.

Once again I can't think of a reality show - I guess that I should spend more time watching TV. (I am done work soon - so I will make that a priority until life gets really busy!)

Anyway, Grover. I had never heard of Encyclopedia Brown until now, and although the comparison to Harry intriques me, Super Grover was always my favourite.
