Round 1 Match 46

Rotund Rumble!
Miss Piggy: She was the original diva, the primo prima-donna, and she got the boy (frog) in the end. What's not to like about Piggy, except her resemblance to Star Reynolds?
Winnie the Pooh: Who doesn't love this dim-witted, sweet-toothed, swag-shilling bear? Pervasive is an understatement for an icon co-opted for everything from toothpaste to taoism.
Criteria: Obvious one here. Pie eating contest.

Comments:
Piggy for the win. Pooh could keep up with her, pie for pie, until she karate-chopped him upside the head and then he'd be down for the count, face in pie.

Pooh, we love ya. But I'm going with Piggy on this one.

I find the above scene strangely arousing. Then again, I've got the munchies in a big way and pork rinds and green Kool-aid sound like just the thing to accompany pie...

However, in the unedited version I saw, Miss Piggy was burped up by Fridge, revived Kermit and continued to finish all the regurgated pie expelled by the now-dead football player. This caused a severe gag reflex in Poohbear, who spewed blueberries out his nose, which were promptly eaten by our queen hog.

Piggy takes the cake - well pie - for this round.

Miss Piggy for sure. She hasn't met a pie she doesn't like. Pooh on the other hand would have trouble with anything other than honey pies.

Chuck's Dad

Oh winnie the pooh! So cute and so Canadian! (OK, the real bear was Canadian.)

And the winner at the Biggest Loser?

Although both a little pudgy - especially after all these pie eating contests. I honestly believe that us Canadians (and Brits) who live in cold weather, but on a layer of insulation in the winter (It happens to conincide with weight gain over the holidays - but it is not because of sugar cookies and wine - no - it a natural venomenom to fight the rages of winter)

Anyway.... Pooh is northern, and that extra layer gives him the edge over Piggy and he is the winner by a gram or two.
