Round 1 Match 24

Archie-Stalker vs. Clock-Watcher
Betty: The mostly unrequited corner in the Archie love triangle. Virtuous on the surface, but just as manipulative and desperate for Archie's affections as her brunette counterpart.
Dilbert: The Tarzan of the cubicle jungle and champion to anyone caught in the white collar grind of memos, post-its, and management hyperbole.
Criteria: Betty gets herself a sweet internship at Dilbert's office. Can her wit and spunky demeanor overcome Dilbert's drudgery?

I have a new found respect for the patience Dilbert exudes. As a result of an office renovation, I have been placed in a large open room with twelve other individuals. We have banquet tables as desks.

Today is day one. I've got a rousing game of catch phrase bingo underway and have already been hit by three paper airplanes.

Dilbert has put up with this for years. Poor guy.

Betty Cooper....sure, I banged her but it was nothing to blog about.

Dilbert has desktop calendars, which is really the only joy I have in my spit-shined excuse for a life.

I take Dilbert. and 30 Percocet

Vote goes to Dilbert, even though I have much more in common with Betty.

Betty does not put out. She's cheeky but a tease.

On the other side I think Dilbert is creepy. Probably has issues that in his last episode (long after he's jumped the shark) will have him going postal and nail-gunning the lot.

Hmmmm. Maybe a couple of spoons of cough syrup. Must remember her number...

Betty is a secondary character at best, Dilbert is the soul of his [admittedly soulless] office.

Betty is just a manipulative broad who knows how to manage people but will fall flat in the office.

Dilbert knows the pulse of the office and manages to keep his blood pressure down at the same time. He'll be able to see right through Betty's wet t-shirt tactics!

Dilbert, you da man!

Well, I guess the decades old question of who people would prefer between Betty and Veronica is taking a path not many would have initially seen coming.
That said, I never pass on funny little B&V cartoons to coworkers.
Dilbert is more pervasive in today's culture.

Definitely Dilbert.
