Criteria: Popularity, significance, coolness, etc. Bonus points for deciding whether Lumiere could successfully charm Veronica away from Archie (she does have a taste for Europeans)

No, that's not just a candle and yes, I am happy to see you...
I think Veronica would melt Lumiere's wax, creating a big, French, creamy, sticky mess. The woman is hot and knows it. Just look at the jaunty pose she did for this competition.
Lumiere, although charming and a bit of a womanizer, completely understands his place in the class system of the time and would not risk his job and health fraternizing with the upper crust - even though Veronica has made it perfectly clear that class doesn't always matter.

Okay, as previously stated in the previous match, I am voting based on who would last longer in Survivor.
This was a close match. Afterall Veronica is a hotty, and the boys may keep her around not only to watch her parade in the skimpy bikini, but in the hopes that they could pull an Amber and Rob.
However, Lumiere can create fire by holding his breath. This is a useful skill indeed. And since I strongly believe that function should preceed fashion, I must disagree with my crappy husband....

Didn't Jack jump over the candle stick? Wrong candle I know but still....it is just a talking candle and unless you have no electricity or are into S & M, you have no need for it/him anywhere.

Ah Lumiere! One of my favourite characters from Beauty and the Beast, yet you have not been a staple of my home for nearly as long as Ms. Lodge (my first comics were the Pep from Archie!). Veronica is the first B*tch I rooted for. (Down with Cooper!)
