Slapstick Dummies vs. Infant Evil Genius
The Three Stooges: If you must include Shemp in your discussions, fine. I'm a Curly guy all the way. A Stooges film was like a Roadrunner cartoon, not much on plot, kind of repetitive, but it always delivered the goods.
Stewie: As much evil as can fit into a two-foot frame. Like most Family Guy characters, he's like Bart, but without the redemptive moments.
Criteria: Hand to hand combat is no good here, since the Stooges would keep fighting with each other. How about if Lois hires the Stooges to babysit Stewie?

Stewie, who is out to destroy the world or at least the people in it if he could ever figure out how to use the door handles, is left in the care of the Stooges.
After five minutes with them he realizes that the world is doomed if it has to endure idiots like these. The thought brings a joy and warmth to his heart that he has never felt before and brings out emotions he never thought he had.
This new heart changes him at a core level. He wants humanity to survive, to grow up, find love and die happy. There is but one thing keeping him from this new desire and he knows what he has to do.
So he spikes his bottle with arsenic and takes out Moe when he tests it. Larry dies when he slices his wrists on razor blades hidden in a dirty diaper. Curly meets his demise trying to remove Stewie from his Jolly-Jumper (the details of which are too brutal to repeat).
And so, rid of people he believed could destroy the world he now loved, Stewie grew up well adjusted and happy.
Therefore I give my vote to the Stooges, for making the ultimate sacrifice to rehabilitate an evil child.

It's hard to argue with that. I think that the Stooges will be remembered long after people say "Stewie who?"
I'm sure I'll get slammed for this but I've never been a family guy fan... mostly because I've never watched it...

I'm with you - I'm not a big Family Guy fan either. I feel like I'm missing out on something, I mean, so many people love it. That said, Stewie still doesn't get my vote.

Blech - I do not like the Three Stooges. However, I cannot discount their popular and iconic status. They truly beat out Stewie. I also believe that any one of the Stooges could have beat him out as singles - maybe not Chemp (sp?), but for sure the three pictured here.
I have to stick with the theme of dancing with the stars, and in all other icon measures the Stooges would win - and it all likelyhood should and will win this competition...
But think of the dance numbers:
