Every time we see Stella, we wonder: Who is she? Why is she smiling? Maybe just "What the heck is up with her?"
If the Secret Railroad is a surreal or psychadelic "trip" where we are the passenger, then Stella is literally the mysterious and unattainable "girl of our dreams".
Would it help if I mentioned that she's Canadian? It worked for Jerome and Boot...

Although my appreciation for Thundercats is deep and true, the Secret Railroad is just more out there and for this battle, has to win out with the show's best chance - Stella.
