Round 1 Match 7: Animal Division

Bird Battle!!

Toucan Sam: Proud mascot of Fruit Loops, with a rainbow of fruit flavours on his beak.

Woody Woodpecker: Manic mascot of chaos and mischief, with an equally important beak.

Comments:
Woody always creeped me out with that laugh and those crazed eyes. He also went through so many animation changes that it's hard to really discern the true Woody. Toucan has alway brought sugary happiness to my life and yours.

oh boooooo

do i have to choose?

i HATE Woody, but i cannot support the sugar cereal character.

Woody by a sliver.

Definitely Toucan Sam. Just follow your nose.
Woddy Woodpecker was freaky, that laugh, that voice - ugh!
I also like to think that Toucan Sam is somehow just inherently more intelligent than Woody and would out-think him every time.

hmmm...
Must be the british accent. Always makes people sound smarter.

Normally I vote against the marketing tool, but I actually like Toucan Sam as a mascot.

Plus Woody went through too many incarnations. I never knew if it was going to be clever curious woody, or ADHD Woody jumping around and whoopwhoopwhooping and grabbing people's noses and the like.

Sam wins by a nose.

When you read my last comment, please read it with a British accent.

And this one, too.

Woody woodpecker always had some silly issue that would bug him on a daily basis. Always insanely hyper. This bugged me deeearly. The fact that no real qualities ever really came from woody also bugged me.

Toucan Sam had the amazing ability to smell a bowl of sugary goodness from way on the other side of the rainforest. I may also slant towards Sam, because I had a bowl of FruitLoops this morning.

Follow your nose, cause woody blows!
SAM for the WIN

Toucan sam always got clumsy around froot loops.

Sure woody got annoying with his laugh, but he always came out on top.

Toucan sam followed his nose directly into a knuckle sandwich on this one.

WOODY!

ug... I dislike them both.
But Sam wins my vote,if only for his consitancy of character. (that, and I really like dry loops for a snack)
