Annoying Sidekick Battle Part 2!!
Orko: Yet another diminutive incompetent sidekick to a big guy with a sword. Cute and harmless, Orko served to temper the testosterone-ridden violent Masters of the Universe. Without Orko, the show is a mostly-naked guy having a swordfight with a skeleton. Not the most family-friendly stuff.
7-Zark-7: The R2D2 rip-off that served as narrator for G-Force's adventures. Invented to help make sense of the plot alterations necessary when "Gatchaman" was translated into "Battle of the Planets". Many see 7-Zark-7 as the symbol for tampering with a good thing, like trying to colorize movies.

as i think you all know by now, i LOVE "battle of the planets", but...
there is no way on earth that 7-zark-7 will ever be cool, not even ironically.

ORKO is more of a throw cover for plungers that I always seen in my grandmother's bathroom. You know the silly like swan type stuffed animals that only purpose was to rid the idea of a rotting plunger next to the toilet.... that kinda throw cover....
And no matter how bad the smell of a disasterious bathroom incident .... my grandmother's bathroom always smelled like sweet potpourri.
I don't see R2D2 twin doing such deed!

Ugh. I hate all of these characters. Can't we have one battle where they both extinguish themselves? Sad, sad, sad excuse for animation. Bad puppets, bad!

Orko may not have been very successful all the time with his spells, but when the chips were down he always came through.

Robots have coolness unsurpased by humans, they do stuff that makes our lives easier and more efficient. In the end they are really simple beings with no personalities, that we don't give them.

"7-Zark-7" would make a better Scrabble score ... but numbers aren't allowed. Orko for 8 points and my vote.
I also guess Orko is slightly less irritating.
Although I wasn't a biug fan at first, I am starting to find the idea of mutual destruction a promising third option.
Would that mean that someone else would get a "by" in round two, commisioner?
