Round 1 Match 6: Animal Division

Stop-Action Battle!

Goliath: Davey's faithful conscience in his moral quest. While not as exciting as most weekend television, and frankly a little on the preachy side, his voice and mannerisms are still referenced today, (especially when contemplating something mischievous).
Pokey: Gumby's faithful companion in his adventures into storybooks, mirrors, etc. He is the "Boots" to Gumby's "Dora" and part of the biggest "ironic-cool" marketing boom of the 80's.

Goliath sounds too much like Hal 9000. And yet his slow talk and good intentions may be just what the world needs. Pokey on the other hand was a rambunctious horsey who slipped through mirrors and visited weird and fascinating worlds. Goliath has God on his side (Good one, Jon) and Pokey might just be a little too distracted to put up much of a fight (come to think of it, I don't ever remember him "fighting"). Goliath wins but after that I'm not going off-world with him, not ever. One eye on the enemy I know...

Goliath is such a pussy. Always unsure of himself, and talking smack to Davie!

Now Pokey doesn't take that kinda crap... If gumby gets outta line, "BOOT!"
Gumby is now eunuch. Well... I guess he was eunuch before that...
