going with She-Ra on this one. i'm sorry, but Daphne does not possess one iota of grrrl-power. She-Ra would kick her ass from here to Etheria and back again.
I think my vote has to go with Daphne on this one. True, She-Ra is more of a Force to be Reckoned With, but I always liked Daphne better. She gets points for putting up with pothead Shaggy, in my book, and combining brains and fashion sense? Now THAT'S an icon I can relate to.
She-Ra just seems like a cheap rip-off of He-Man - waitaminute...
She-Ra WAS jsut a cheap rip-off of He-Man.
Daphne was the style-centre for the Scooby Gang and even went on to start with Shaggy and Scooby in a future Scooby cartoon - sans Fred and Velma.
I believe the girl in purple has reached an icon status above that of She-Ra.

What contribution did Daphne really make to solving any of the mysteries, other than being the looker of the bunch? I'd go so far to say that she was simply the red-headed blonde of the bunch.
And yes, She-Ra is a rip of of He-Man, but yet not a cheap one. He-Man ruled and She-Ra kicked just as much ass as he did. And for all the women's libbers in the crowd, you should feel satisfied that the cartoon world made such an icon to achieve equality with the animated He-man types.
How can you not love anybody connected to the Masters of the Universe?

The general feeling in the office is She Ra, but something just didn't sit right until I read Vic's post.
The Scooby gang is still going strong with new adventures (live action and animated), while I hadn't heard the name She Ra in quite some time...not so much of an "icon" I guess.
Vic's right she ra was just a cheap rip off from He Ra, probably one of the reasons she's pretty forgetable.
I'm voting Daphnie!

Can you take She-Ra home to meet mom?
Not if you want your mom to live.
Daphne maybe but...I'm thinking the sweater stays on.
hmmm...

Wow - this may be the toughtest one yet...
But I agree - I can't recall the last time I heard the name She-ra. She-ra = She-out of here, my vote is for Daphne

There's nothing ironic about either icon here. She-Ra was designed to be a female icon and Daphne.. well she was just too hot for it to be ironic that people love her. I mean, Sarah Michelle Geller played her in the movie. Hello!!
